Hello.  I am Leslee McFerren

Borrowing subjects from life experiences,  I seek peace and harmony while reflecting on nature.  Balance, beauty and dimension are conveyed through images using unique, hand-dyed silk ribbons and threads.  Nature provides an endless variety of surprise and joy.  Capturing those elements in my artwork is achieved through creative stitching, hand created floral items, beads, fibres, found objects and other textural pieces. My work offers a humble opportunity for me to experience peace while learning new things and sharing them with others.  For those looking closely at my images, my goal is to inspire them to discover and reconnect with nature's calm and beauty.
